It’s been a minute. Things have been uneasy with facing a pandemic, and facing racial injustice,. More on that later. I recently finished a book on Soul Train by music critic Nelson George. I grew up on the Soul Train of Shemar Moore of the early 2000s, not quite the same feel of the Soul Train line. But the book spoke of multiple issues of how the show from the late 60s to the 80s contributed so much influence on black music, dance, culture and fashion. I Recently saw on the news a 12-year girl from Chicago create a short Soul Train documentary.

Definitely worth the 10 minutes with some good Chicago history included. Apparently, the documentary had been running at digital showcase run by the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture.
